We are seeking a talented and creative Character Designer to join our dynamic team for an upcoming animated series. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to create unique and compelling characters that align with the story and artistic direction of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Character Creation: Design original characters based on project requirements and scripts, ensuring they are visually appealing and suitable for animation.
• Concept Art: Produce detailed concept art, including character sketches, turnarounds, and expression sheets.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the director, writers, and animators to develop characters that fit the overall vision of the series.
• Style Consistency: Ensure consistency in character design and maintain the established art style throughout the production.
• Revisions: Make necessary adjustments to character designs based on feedback from the creative team.
• Documentation: Create and maintain design documentation, including character sheets and style guides, to be used by the animation team.
• Adaptability: Adapt designs as needed to accommodate changes in the storyline or animation techniques.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in character design for animation, video games, or comics is preferred.
• Skills: Strong drawing skills, with a focus on character design and anatomy. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent.
• Creativity: Exceptional creativity and the ability to create diverse and unique characters.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to take direction and collaborate effectively with the team.
